A Blog Post

The blog page on this site has been set up as an additional page.  The Reading setup options allow the site admin to define which page is used as the default home page and which is used as the blog page.  In the case there wouldn’t be a blog on the site, then nothing is defined in that area.  By default, WordPress defines the home page as the blog page.  In order to set up a different page as the blog page, a new page must be created and then defined in the Settings area as the blog page.
